Committed to the respect and dignity for life and enhancing the quality of human life by providing crisis intervention, support, guidance, and education to persons in need
WHO WE ARE
Serving mothers, families, and mothers to be who live in the Metro East area of Southern Illinois…
Adolescents and women in need of help during their pregnancy are the initial focus of our services. The director and all persons who work at Center are unpaid volunteers.
The Pregnancy Care Center does not charge for any of the services offered. We do, however, require a photo id, copy of birth certificate or birth record from the hospital, and proof of residence. When a new mom makes her first visit after giving birth, she is given a layette containing items needed to care for a baby. Layettes (should take care of a newborn’s basic needs for the first six weeks) include onesies, sleepers, towel, wash cloths, burp pads, bibs, several outfits, receiving blankets, quilt or large blanket, sheet, bottles, pacifier, socks, diapers, etc. Families can then visit the center once a month to get supplies such as diapers, pull-ups, wipes, clothing, socks, books, toys, etc.

Pregnancy Care Center Response to Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic
We, of course, are deeply saddened and extremely upset that such a horrific project has been sanctioned and built without anyone knowing of its existence. As a group that continues to offer support and care for expectant mothers, we are going to have to work even harder to get our message to those who are seeking options to their pregnancy.
Even though we are located in downtown Belleville, we accept people from many surrounding cities in the Metro East. We feel that we offer an enormous amount of information so they can make a decision they won’t regret. We give free pregnancy tests and referrals as needed. However, we offer REAL help for mothers who choose to have their babies, in the form of free layettes (clothing, blankets, bottles, sheet, lotions, diapers, formula, etc.) and clothing and diapers for their child up through the age of five — ALL FREE OF CHARGE!!
Our clients do not need to prove financial need to receive our help……we are there for all families in the Metro East who seek love, understanding, compassion and truth. Our volunteers are caring and generous people who want only the best for our mothers and babies.
We are blessed to receive more and more generous donations from many large and influential entities, so that we can continue to serve more mothers who have made the blessed choice for LIFE rather than abortion. We know our generous supporters will continue their help now that we have a bigger and more deadly foe in our area. Thank you to all those who have, and continue to donate to our facility.
